Utilizing images, graphics, diagrams, etc. in science is crucial. They can provide a framework for representing ideas, both for learning and demonstrating learning. Most, if not all, slides had some sort of graphic or image.

Lesson Planning 

The Buggy Lab - 10/04/2019 & 10/07/2019

This lab has students designing and conducting an experiment in order to collect motion data about the “Tumble Buggies”. Students will run multiple trials where they mark the position vs time of the moving buggies, graph the data, and calculate introductory statistical analysis on the data. The students will then answer questions about the data, compare their data to other groups, and reach a class definition of Accuracy and Precision. This lab will also teach lab skills, such as lab safety, taking measurements, and designing experiments.
