
About Me
Peter Isaac Quelly, who goes by his middle name Isaac, serves as a Peer Mentor in the DragonsTeach Program. Isaac brings with him 4+ years of teaching/mentoring experience. He is a senior Architectural Engineering student slated to graduate in the spring of 2019. Isaac has completed three co-ops thus far; his first and second with the Philadelphia Water Department, and his third with Arcadis U.S., Inc. He is experienced in designing Green Stormwater Infrastructure systems/projects as well as construction management of public works projects.
In addition to his engineering degree, Isaac has almost completed the DragonsTeach Program. He is in the process of initiating the Apprentice Teaching (student teaching) stage. Once completed, Isaac will be certified in secondary physics. Isaac has also planned and led many informal education and outreach events, including The Franklin Institute Community Nights, The Philadelphia Science Festival, and Breakthrough Collaborative of Greater Philadelphia. Isaac has also attended two national UTeach Institute (the program DragonsTeach is modeled off of) conferences both times winning the 1st place poster presentation in his category (2016 solo, 2017 team).
